Your rights: You may update or remove sensitive information at any time through your profile settings. You may also request deletion of this information by contacting us at privacy@oncircle.app.
1.6 Approximate Location from IP Address
When you access Circle, we may automatically collect your approximate location (city or region level) derived from your IP address. This is used for:
- Security and fraud prevention;
- Understanding general geographic usage patterns;
- Compliance with regional legal requirements.
We do not collect precise GPS coordinates or track your real-time location. The outing feature stores only the venue name you enter as text, not geographic coordinates.
1.7 Information You Provide About Others
Circle includes features where you may provide information about other people:
Crush Submissions
When you submit a crush, you provide the email address of another person. We use this information solely to:
- Check if that person is a Circle user;

- Notify a Friend: You receive only the single safety notification. Your email is not stored.
